On holding certification
In reference to the “Acanfora Case,” I’m proud to say Joey is my first cousin. As far back as I can remember, as children and now adults, we have always lived close to each other’s families. I don’t recall Joey ever having an enemy. Some people find faults, but I can’t find any with Joey. I don’t think it’s right for the State College to hold back Joey’s degree, and I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way. The school has had no trouble him, tuition-wise, he’s made the Dean’s List, and his points for student teaching.
I do wish the school would straighten out this situation. Joey will make an excellent teacher. All he wants in life is his teaching degree, and his rights to live as a human being, like the rest of God’s creatures.
Thank you for taking the time to read my letter.
