I put this site together for so many reasons … to preserve a bit
of gay American history … to remember and honor my mother and father
for their important role in this story and in my life as a gay man …
to look back 35 years later and see how much has changed for gay men and
women and adolescents in America – and how much has NOT ! …
a little bit to show my own pride for the role I played in these events
… a little bit to clean out old filing cabinets … and to play
a small part in the ongoing debates, struggles, battles, discussions,
and dreams of gay Americans to continue to move forward today towards
a future of full, and truly equal, participation in the American promise
and dream.
